This allows you to purchase the item later at the sale price, ensuring you get the best deal possible. Taking advantage of rain checks requires a bit of foresight and communication with store staff, but the savings can add up quickly over time. Next time you find yourself frustrated over an out-of-stock product, calmly ask if your grocer participates in rain checks and rest assured knowing that you’re maximizing every shopping opportunity.
